Middle Caicos
is the largest of the seven inhabited islands in the country of
the Turks and Caicos Islands, British West Indies. It is situated halfway
between Puerto Rico and Florida, 90 miles north of the Dominican
Republic and east of the Bahamas. It is the least populated of the
inhabited islands with only 271
people. English is the official language and the U.S. dollar is
the currency used.

All you need to do is make travel arrangements from your hometown
to Providenciales (Airport code PLS). Blue Horizon Resort will arrange
for local flight
connections to Middle Caicos, either by scheduled airlines or by
a local charter airline. The flight from Providenciales to Middle
Caicos is only about 15 minutes long.
A charter flight can
be arranged on any day of the week at a time suited to your arrival on
Providenciales. If you arrive late during the day, especially during
the winter, an overnight stay on Providenciales may be required since
flights to Middle Caicos are not permitted after dark.
We recommend that you make your airline arrangements to
Providenciales as soon as possible. The Turks and Caicos are a popular
destination and seats may be limited.
American Air Lines, Delta and USAir offer scheduled flights daily.
Schedules and availability may change seasonally and other major airlines
may also offer service to Providenciales.
Charter flights offer service from
Canada, Detroit, Michigan, New York City, N. Y. and other U.S. cities.
Check with your travel agent or airline website for flights available during
your vacation dates.

to your cottage. Just provide us with your grocery list 2 weeks
before your arrival. We'll do your shopping on Providenciales where
most familiar items are available.
